Homesick for Heaven
“Our homeland is in heaven.” Philippians 3:20
This home we’re in won’t last forever. Birthdays remind us of that.
Not long ago I turned fifty. I’m closer to ninety than I am to infancy. All those things they say about aging are coming true. I’m patting myself less on the back and more under the chin. I have everything I had twenty years ago, except now it’s all lower. The other day I tried to straighten out the wrinkles in my socks and found out I wasn’t wearing any.
Aging. It’s no fun. The way we try to avoid it, you’d think we could. We paint the body, preserve the body, protect the body. And well we should. These bodies are God’s gifts. We should be responsible. But we should also be realistic. This body must die so the new body can live. “Flesh and blood cannot have a part in the kingdom of God. Something that will ruin cannot have a part in something that never ruins” (I Cor. 15:50).

This is just an outlet for me to ramble part and parcel of my thoughts, never knew there will be other people likes reading it. Thanks Wendy! =)
I will not agree on it. I regard as polite post. Particularly the title attracted me to read the unscathed story.
Bitch,u deleted the comment. Why didnt u remove other comments here? Or u only wanna let ppl see the good comment of u? U r so fake. U r a piece of shit. U dun deserve to write to God. Hate to see u around. Bitch!
Hmmm... Usually, I won't entertain people like you, but, I'll have an exception for you, this time only.
First, thank you for your support to add on to the site traffic; despite the fact that you seems to hate me a lot, you still drop by here on & off (for some unknown reasons), and at times leave a comment or two.
Secondly, I would like to tell you, I rather be a bitch, than a coward like you.
I won’t mind to leave your comment intact, if only you would use your real name, it’s that simple. And well, since you demanded for it, I’ll leave one of your anonymous comments here, but no next time k, unless you stick to the rules.
Lastly, this is a space for “myself & I”, to rant to God, why are you so bothered by it? It’s really none of your business you know? And who are you to approve if I can write to God (and in fact who-so-ever) or not? Unless if you’re god, but obviously you’re not.
That’s all for this first and last time, don’t want to waste time on such absurd matter and people. Hey, get a life!
